Bright Eyes Alpaca Retreat
Arrive at Bright Eyes Alpaca Retreat to check in at 1 pm for your overnight stay. Bright Eyes Alpaca Retreat is home to a working herd of alpacas, two guardian dogs and the Bergen family, who use their microfarm to host guests and educate visitors about the fascinating lives of alpacas.
You’ll enjoy an entire one bedroom apartment located above the garage with private entry overlooking the alpaca farm. All towels and linens are included. There is a coffee & tea bar with a Keurig, French Press, fresh ground coffee, k-cups and tea bags. For an extra “down on the farm” feel, you’ll discover homemade breakfast baked goods as well. Yum!

Private tour of the farm
Once you’re all settled in, owners Bill and Cindy will lead you on a private tour of the farm and personally introduce you to the alpacas and livestock guardian dogs. Ruby, Lilly, Brownie, and the Tri-Colored Trio are just a few of the 13 alpacas you will meet on your personal tour. They, along with their guardian dogs Jake and Jili, are sure to have you feeling the warm fuzzies deep down inside.
Don’t forget to stop into the Bright Eyes Alpaca shop. Full of items made from fiber from their own alpaca herd, you’ll find dryer balls, 20 different colors of yarn, felted soaps, and even nesting balls and wreaths in the farm’s unique shop.

After your farm tour, head downtown for a night on the town! Make your way to the Vintage Antique Shack and use your $50 giftcard to find that perfect farmhouse-inspired piece to take home with you. Check out by 11 am and head to J and J Treeland, a Christmas tree farm and local favorite for picking out bright green trees, wreaths and greenery. You’ll feel like you’ve stepped back in time as you pick out your free fresh wreath as a part of this giveaway package. Take a minute, or five, to breathe in the smell of fresh cedar and pine and don’t forget to grab your locally grown Christmas tree if you haven’t already. Pro tip: the Christmas Tree farm makes the perfect backdrop to snap some family photos.
