We promise you’ll find the best Thanksgiving picks Farmville has to offer.
Trendy Tablescapes (Not to Mention Tables!)

The Main Event: The Feast!
Visiting Farmville right before Thanksgiving? Stop by one of these local gems for homemade jams, baked goods, eggs, produce, meats, and more to add to your Thanksgiving celebration.
Pineview Bulk Food & Deli
A bit off the beaten path, Pineview is an Amish grocery store and deli located a couple of miles outside town. Their homemade baked goods (think rolls, cornbread, and zucchini bread) will act as perfect sides to your Thanksgiving feast. Or pick up a specialty: Shoofly pie, flavored with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and molasses. You’ll also find canned goods: jams, jellies, and pickles, as well as dried goods like fruits and nuts. All that shopping can build up an appetite! While you’re there, try Pineview’s made-to-order sandwiches or a homemade soup. (We recommend the lobster bisque!)
Miller’s Country Store
Another popular, Amish-run business in Farmville is Miller’s on West Third Street. In addition to all of the staples and their own selection of soups and sandwiches to go, Miller’s offers eggnog and custard from Homestead Creamery, as well as apple cider from Morris Orchard. They bake a variety of pies fresh every Thursday and are known for their scrumptious cakes: apple, carrot, sour cream, and lemon. Live close by? Miller’s will take special orders up until the Saturday before Thanksgiving. Just send them a message on Facebook or give them a call.
Headstart on Christmas Anyone?
While any of our local businesses offer great Christmas gifts, check out Sweet Violet for those “frivolous necessities” you know your friends and family will love. Sweet Violet offers both home accents and gifts. Who knows? You might just find a little holiday sparkle in their window when you walk by.
