Richmond-based quintet Road Kill Roy sits at the intersection of rock and Americana, with the occasional four-part harmony and plenty of Hammond organ in the mix. The lineup consists of Mike Raybould on guitar and lead vocals, Davy Jones on guitar and lead vocals here and there, Ted Fogarty on bass, and the backing vocal duo of keyboardist Mark Langhorst and drummer Corey Muldoon. For more than fifteen years, Road Kill Roy has offered up a blend of original songs and covers at venues like The National, The Richmond Music Hall, and The Camel, including opening sets for Illiterate Light, the Fighting Jamesons, and the Larry Keel Experience.
