The use of bows to shoot arrows has been a part of global history for thousands of years whether for defense, survival, or sport. This basic archery session provides instruction to those new to archery and shooting time to those already familiar with bows. All equipment is provided, although our equipment is not suitable for youth under eight years of age. Only ten slots are available.
Advance registration is required at least 48 hours before the event through Eventbrite HERE. The fee per person is $5 plus a small processing fee. Restrooms and water are not available at the archery range. Groups of over eight people can request a private session at times other than the regularly scheduled sessions by contacting: bcguide@dcr.virginia.gov.
