Join the Department of Art as we welcome acclaimed artist Edward Steffanni to campus for a three-part event, including a workshop, talk and exhibition.

  • The Silk Aquatint Workshop will occur on Monday, September 28, 2026, from 9-10:50 a.m. in Bedford 217.
  • The Artist Talk will occur on Monday, September 28, 2026, beginning at 4 p.m. in Bedford 111.
  • The Exhibition Opening Reception will occur on Monday, September 28, 2026, in Bedford Gallery, following the conclusion of the artist talk.

More about Edward Steffanni

Edward Steffanni is an American artist born in Ohio. He received his Master of Fine Arts in Printmaking from the Rhode Island School of Design. In Edward’s interdisciplinary practice, he examines the relationships between queerness, concealment, nature and spirituality using print media, ceramics, papermaking and performance.

Steffanni’s work has been exhibited nationally and has received numerous awards. His work has been supported through research grants from the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation and the Rhode Island School of Design’s SPUR Fund. Currently, he is a part of the 2025 New Voices cohort for the Print Center New York. His work is held in the University of Richmond Museums, among others.
