This pleasant paddle will show you two aspects of the lake: one of a lake built in the 1930s and another of a wetland created by nature. Basic canoeing instruction will be given as needed and all equipment is provided except for children under 6 years old who must provide their own approved Personal Flotation Devices.
The activity fee is $5 per person, payable at the event by exact cash, check payable to “Treasurer of Virginia”, or a credit card; we accept only Visa and Mastercard. Advance registration is required at least 48 hours before the event.
