Come to the Legacy Wayside behind the beach playground between 10 and 11 a.m. to partake in fun and food. Participants will be loaned hand-held GPS units to find three hidden boxes. In each box will be a ticket for one component of a s’more. Find all three boxes and you’ll have the makings of a s’more that you are welcome to toast on the fire or save for later. A park ranger will give instructions on how to use the GPS units. The roasting fire will be available until noon. The marshmallows are vegan.
The search route can be done by active younger kids but is not generally considered baby stroller friendly. Showing proof of identity will be required to borrow the GPS units.
