Kick off the Great Backyard Bird Count with a short hike led by a ranger! Join us to explore local bird habitats, learn tips for spotting feathered friends, and contribute to this exciting citizen science event. You don’t have to be an expert to participate in and enjoy birding. It’s a fun and educational way to connect with nature and start counting!

Be sure to wear warm, comfortable shoes and clothes, and bring a water bottle if possible. While this trail is rated easy, it is not appropriate for strollers and those with severe mobility issues. To ensure an enjoyable time, please alert park staff to any necessary special accommodations you or your group may need. Parks are for everyone; this is an inclusive program open to all people.
